About Me
As a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and Connecticut, I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) primarily with adolescents and young adults. With a compassionate yet direct approach, I am committed to helping my clients navigate life's challenges and cultivate meaningful change.
My areas of expertise include evidence-based treatments for suicidal thoughts/behaviors, nonsuicidal self-injury, impulsive behaviors, a range of anxiety-related disorders, depression, and trauma. I also enjoy working with parents in managing their children’s problematic behaviors at home.
My practice is founded on evidence-based therapies proven to empower individuals in managing emotions, improving relationships, and developing effective coping strategies. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or high-risk behaviors, my goal is to equip you with practical skills that foster resilience and promote emotional well-being. I believe in creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly. My warm and direct style ensures that we work collaboratively towards your goals, with clear guidance and genuine understanding.
